On Thursday June 24, 2021, at approximately 1:22 AM, the north half of Champlain Tower South condominium building collapsed, killing 98 people. Mr. Ulloa was retained on behalf of with the building’s primary carrier to investigate the partial building collapse.

On Tuesday July 5, 2022, a portion of the roof collapsed at the Orthopedic Associates of Wisconsin Sports Complex, with approximately 50 people inside. Mr. Ulloa was retained to determine the cause of the roof collapse.
-New Berlin, Wisconsin
On Wednesday October 10, 2012, at approximately 11:30 AM, a portion of Miami Dade College’s six story precast concrete parking garage structure collapsed, killing four construction workers. Mr. Ulloa was retained as lead structural engineer on behalf of the primary contractor’s primary insurance carrier to investigate the collapse. Mr. Ulloa was also asked to assist with evidence identification, tagging, photographic documentation, tracking , and off site boneyard storage coordination.

On Sunday February 19, 2017, at approximately 10:30 PM, a tornado caused damage to multiple buildings in northern San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Ulloa assisted the primary insurance carrier for Chateau Dijon condominium to coordinate the investigation into the extent of storm related damage to the property, prepare repair plans and protocols, and worked as liaison with the City of San Antonio and the property owners association and their counsel.

On Monday December 12, 2016, a shoring collapse during concrete pour of the elevated pool deck slab occurred at the Paramount Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Ulloa was retained to determine the cause of the shoring failure.

On Friday December 29, 2023, a fire burned the center portion of the Bellaire Apartments in Houston, Texas. Mr. Ulloa was retained to determine the extent of structural damage to the building and provide repair recommendations.
